Organizing for Mission Network, una red nacional y ecuménica de líderes, congregaciones y organismos eclesiásticos regionales basada en la fe, te invita a un curso de formación bilingüe (español-inglés) de dos días de duración.
La inscripción cuesta 200 dólares e incluye las tasas del programa, dos almuerzos y la cena del viernes por la noche. Los participantes deben hacerse cargo de su propio transporte y alojamiento. Hay una tarifa de grupo disponible en el Hilton Garden Inn Secaucus/Meadowlands.
Este evento fortalecerá los vínculos regionales, preparará a los líderes para la acción organizativa local y generará un renacimiento espiritual para un trabajo sostenido.

Organizing for Mission Network, a national, ecumencial faith-rooted collective for leaders, congregations, and regional church bodies, invites you to a two-day Spanish-English bilingual training.
Registration is $200 and covers program fees, two lunches, and Friday night dinner. Participants are responsiblie for their own transportation and lodging. Hotel group rate available at Hilton Garden Inn Secaucus/Meadowlands.
This event will strengthen regional connections, equip leaders for local organizing action, and create a spiritual revival for sustained work.

Organizamos una formación bilingüe en Manhattan porque el lugar donde nos reunimos es importante, y Nueva York es un lugar donde muchas culturas, idiomas y luchas se dan cita en la vida real. Ofrecer la formación tanto en inglés como en español permite que más personas participen plenamente, compartan sus historias y asuman el liderazgo. En lugar de hablar de la organización en teoría, aprenderemos de lo que realmente está sucediendo en esa ciudad en torno a la vivienda, la inmigración y la vida comunitaria, y practicaremos cómo construir relaciones más allá de las diferencias. Así es como crece el poder real: personas que se reúnen en un lugar concreto, hablando sus propios idiomas y trabajando codo con codo por el cambio. El lugar que acoge este evento es el Synod Hall, situado en los terrenos de la Catedral de San Juan el Divino, en la Avenida Amsterdam y la calle 110.

We are hosting a bilingual training in Manhattan because where we gather matters, and New York is a place where many cultures, languages, and struggles come together in real life. Offering the training in both English and Spanish makes it possible for more people to fully participate, share their stories, and lead. Instead of talking about organizing in theory, we will learn from what is actually happening in that city around housing, immigration, and community life, and practice building relationships across difference. That is how real power grows: people coming together in a specific place, speaking their own languages, and working side by side for change. Our host for this event is Synod Hall on the grounds of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Amsterdam Avenue and 110th Street.
